Who is Jaimie, anyway?

Jaimie has committed her life to provide media and reputation-building support to those doing good in the world. Over the past 15 years, she has worked as a media consultant and traveling photographer in Canada and 10+ countries worldwide, with organizations such as  Youth With A Mission New Zealand, IVCF’s Circle Square Ranch, Atlantic Youth Ministries, the International Mission Board, and most recently as the Media and Technology Specialist with The Navigators of Canada.

Jaimie’s formal training is in Interactive Multimedia and Design; she has a degree in Information Technology from Carleton University and a diploma in Interactive Multimedia and Design from Algonquin College. In her final year of university, two of her projects were featured on CBC Radio and the Microsoft Blog. The first was a thought-controlled video game using the Emotiv (EEG brainwave-reading technology), and a Windows phone app, was featured on Microsoft’s blog. She also holds an award for outstanding Stage Management and Set Design through Sears Drama festival and was recognized for her production work on the Navigators Advance Conference in 2016. Jaimie is currently serving with Compassion Canada as their Digital Marketing Strategist, and is previously a member of the London Pregnancy & Family Support Centre’s Board of Directors.

Originally from Westport, Ontario, Jaimie loves to spend her spare time adventuring in new places, especially with a camera, and coaching ministries and non-profits on media and technology best practices. She and her budgies currently live in London, Ontario.
